At Least It's Not a Green Mohawk

We finally bit the bullet. Today we finally got Monkey's hair cut at a children's specialty salon by our home. He had a hard time with the spray bottle and the electric trimmers, they scared him. Other than that, he did really great! We were pretty proud. Although a Baby Einstein video and a banana sucker can do wonders to distract.

I can't type much more without crying, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Our baby is growing up and I'm having a little bit of a hard time with it.

Another customer next to us. My gut feeling is that Dad is sleeping on the sofa tonight. Mom wasn't with them.

I'm just blown away by how much MORE he looks like his Daddy now!

He is so adorable!!!

=( he has no curls now though...

Oh... I am digging the mohawk on the other little boy! LOL! I would be the one coming home with F's hair like that and be the one sleeping on the couch. ;)

I just want to eat him up, curls or not!! Precious. You could shave that boy's head and nobody'd bat an eye - he's that cute. <3

N here:

That day couldn't have gone any better. Imagine giving a haircut to a monkey hyped on caffeine, that was the challenge. Big props to Cool Cuts 4 Kids and a fabulous hairdresser that knew how to keep our son's attention. But wow, he's beautiful...more boyish than babyish, but he's a handsome young man. It's amazing how a little haircut can change so drastically how we view our little one. His facial expressions seem more pronounced and his pronunciation has improved...at least in our minds.
